I really appreciated this a lot today Beth. Yesterday I was in a printmaking workshop… And as with a lot of my art processes, I learned by doing and not by going to fancy art school so I've been very successful with my etching prints, but in this workshop, I was repeatedly put down and even ridiculed by the information I was giving and the methods I was using. At the end of the workshop. I went home, and I looked up on the web the things I was saying, and in fact, I was correct most of the time and as I was swimming today, I thought about how I'm way too old to be swimming in the two-piece and yet I am still swimming in the two piece and I am still like Dana the little salmon going in the opposite direction and I thought well so be it then when I listened to your podcast and saw that Dolly Parton quote I felt so supported and I really needed the support so thank you !!!!!
By the way, I have also been looking at the buds in my garden and seeing them for the miracle that they are and knowing I don't understand a thing about how something that looks like a twig in the winter is going to give me a pear in the summer
And yet I know from 31 years in the same garden that pear is what's gonna happen xo ❤️❤️
